Lloyd Kortbeek is the president and founder of E2I2 Consulting Inc. He is a registered Professional Engineer in the province of Alberta with over 25 years of experience. He is a Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) with the Insurance Institute of Canada (IIC) and holds a current certification with the National Association of Fire Investigators (NAFI) as a Certified Fire and Explosion Investigator. Lloyd is qualified as an expert witness in Alberta. Lloyd has practical field experience having worked as a maintenance engineer in the Canadian oil sands. He has extensive investigation and claim support experience with fixed and mobile mining, oil exploration, production, processing/upgrading, and petrochemical equipment. He has worked as an adjuster as well as an engineering consultant on small through large energy and specialty claims. Lloyd has worked on losses valued in excess of CAD $1.2 billion, as well as captive, mutual, subscription and multi layered policy losses. His range of clients includes insurers, industry and counsel on industrial and specialized property and machinery physical damage losses.
