The 20hr Land Development for B.C. P. Eng's package is designed to provide Professional Engineers in British Columbia the opportunity to fulfill 20 CE hours as well as an additional free 2 CE hours in ethics (an average of 20 CE hours per year in a 3-year rolling period and 1 CE hour of ethics is required each year by EGBC) while developing their knowledge and skills pertaining to land development. Through the combination of theoretical and practical knowledge provided in this package, engineers will gain a comprehensive understanding of bio-retention procedures, design of bio-retention areas, gravel roads, earth retaining walls and structures, soil sampling in frozen ground, and more! By taking this package, B.C. Professional Engineers will develop the skills and knowledge necessary for planning and implementing land development design principles in a variety of environmental conditions and will be able to apply these principles directly to their work.
